The world’s highest-grossing company is launching mobile ads for Google, its latest attempt to gain traction in a crowded mobile market.
Google Inc. launched its first advertising campaign for the next Internet.com video platform in the first quarter of 2017, with the company releasing more than 20,000 ads on the platform.
The ad will run on mobile phones, tablet computers, and other devices.
The ad has a simple tagline: “Get a message to your friends and family.”
It will run for 30 days.
Google also plans to release ads for the Google Home, a smart speaker that Google’s CEO Sergey Brin said will be the world’s most powerful computer in 2020.
As part of its new effort, Google will work with social network Snapchat, and the company plans to offer ads for Snapchat’s popular messaging app.
Google will begin offering the ads to consumers in the coming months.
In a statement to Gizmodo, a spokesperson for Google said: “We have an ambitious vision for the future of mobile advertising and want to help businesses and consumers get the most out of the platform.”
